A website SEO audit tool that names the page and the fix

SolSEO is a website SEO audit tool that crawls your site, scores every page the way Yoast and Rank Math score a draft, samples Core Web Vitals, and checks the things that only matter to a shop. The free plan audits 500 pages a month on one site, with no card and no expiry.

What the website SEO audit tool checks, in four parts

The site audit crawl covers four categories and the report says which category a finding came from, so the list can be worked through by whoever owns that part of the site rather than landed on one person as a single long page of problems.

Technical basics. Status codes, redirect chains, canonical tags that point somewhere else, pages missing from the sitemap and pages in the sitemap that answer 404, noindex tags on pages that should be indexed, duplicate titles and duplicate descriptions, and thin pages.

Content quality. Every crawled page is scored with the same Yoast and Rank Math emulators that grade a draft inside the WordPress editor: title length and pixel width, meta description length, the keyphrase in the first paragraph, subheading distribution, image alt text, internal and outbound link counts, sentence length and passive voice. The two scores sit beside each other because the two plugins disagree on purpose, and a page that pleases both is usually a page that reads well.

Core Web Vitals. Sampled through PageSpeed Insights, on mobile and desktop, so a slow template shows up as a pattern across pages rather than as one bad reading.

WooCommerce checks. Missing or malformed product schema, a price in the schema that disagrees with the price on the page, out of stock products still linked from a category or a banner, and filter URLs eating the crawl budget.

What the website audit tool health score means

One number from 0 to 100 per site, worked out from the findings the crawl raised and weighted by how much each one costs. Above 80 is green, 70 to 79 is amber, below 70 is red. It moves when the site changes and it never moves for a reason you cannot look up.

It is not an authority score. There is no domain rating here and there never will be. Those numbers are a vendor's private opinion of a site, agencies strip them out of client decks, and nobody outside the vendor can reproduce one. The health score is arithmetic over findings you can read, which is a different kind of number.

Every finding carries three fields from one catalogue: what it is, why it matters, and how to fix it. The same catalogue feeds the audit screen, the WordPress plugin's findings list and the documentation, so all three say the same sentence about the same rule. A finding you disagree with can be muted, and the mute is remembered across crawls.

A free website SEO audit Australia businesses can finish

The free plan crawls 500 pages a month for one site. For most Australian small business sites that is the whole site, which is the point: an audit that stops at 50 pages tells you about the navigation and nothing about the products. Paid plans raise the allowance to 5,000, 20,000, 50,000 and 250,000 pages a month.

Nothing on the free plan expires and no card is taken. The audit is the same audit, the findings are the same findings and the health score is the same arithmetic. What the paid plans add is daily rank checks instead of weekly, more keywords, scheduled reports, the alert channels, uptime and SSL probes, and the plugin at its paired level on the sites you connect.

Why a shop needs a WooCommerce SEO audit tool

A generic crawler treats a shop like a blog with more pages. The four checks below exist because they are the ones that cost money on a WooCommerce site, and a general purpose SEO audit tool will not raise any of them.

Product schema on a variable product should publish the price range and an offer per variation. A bow sold in five draw weights that publishes one price is a bow whose rich result is wrong for four out of five buyers. The audit reads the rendered schema rather than the plugin settings, because the settings are what somebody meant and the schema is what shipped.

A price in the schema that disagrees with the price on the page is a Merchant Center problem before it is an SEO problem. So is a product marked in stock in the schema and out of stock on the page. Both get their own finding with the product named.

Then there is the crawl budget. A shop with six filters can generate tens of thousands of addresses from a few hundred products, and a crawler will happily spend a month on them. The audit counts the filter URLs it met and shows the multiplication, which is usually the first time anyone has seen the number.

Faceted navigation, counted rather than guessed

Faceted navigation SEO is mostly an arithmetic problem, and the audit tool treats it as one. Colour times size times price band times brand times sort order is a number that grows quickly, and every one of those addresses is a page Google may crawl instead of a product. The audit reports how many it found, how many were indexable, and how many returned the same set of products as another one.

The fix belongs on the site rather than in a report, which is why the WordPress plugin carries a faceted URL controller: you choose which filter combinations may be crawled and which are closed off, and the plugin writes the tags. A site audit that reports a problem it cannot help you fix is only half a tool.

Uptime, SSL and the things that break quietly

The SEO audit tool also watches the site between crawls. Paid plans probe the home page and the certificate. A site that is down fires an alert after three consecutive failed probes rather than after one, because a single timeout is usually the network and waking somebody at 2am for it is how alerts get muted for ever. A certificate approaching expiry is worth more warning than most people give it.

Indexation loss has its own rule. A sharp drop in indexed pages between crawls is the symptom of a staging robots.txt reaching production, a plugin update turning on a noindex switch, or a migration that lost a redirect map. Any of those is cheap to fix in the first week and expensive in the second month.

How the website SEO audit tool fits with rank tracking

An SEO audit says what is wrong with a page. Rank tracking says whether fixing it did anything. Run separately they are two opinions, and run together they are a before and after with dates on it: the crawl records a content hash for every page, so when a keyword moves the report can say that the page changed between the two checks.

The health score and its change appear on page five of every client report, next to the keyword movements, which is the pairing a client understands without explanation. Daily rank tracking and the audit are on the same plan rather than sold as two products, and the pricing page lists the crawl allowance beside every other limit.

Common questions about the website SEO audit tool

Is there a free SEO audit?

Yes. The free plan crawls 500 pages a month for one site, with no card and no expiry. It scores every page, reports the findings and gives you the health score, exactly as the paid plans do at higher page counts.

What does the SolSEO site audit check?

Four things: the technical crawl basics, content quality scored the way Yoast and Rank Math score it, Core Web Vitals sampled through PageSpeed Insights, and WooCommerce specific checks on product schema, stock and filter URLs.

What is the health score?

One number from 0 to 100 for a site, worked out from the findings the crawl raised, weighted by how badly each one hurts. Every finding lists what it is, why it matters and how to fix it, so the number is always traceable to a page.

Why does the audit care about faceted navigation?

A shop with six filters can generate tens of thousands of filter URLs from a few hundred products, and a crawler spends its budget on those instead of the products. The audit counts them, and the plugin can control which combinations are allowed to be crawled.

Do I need WordPress to run an audit?

No. The crawler reads any site over HTTP. The WordPress plugin adds findings to the post and product lists inside wp-admin once a site is paired, which is a convenience rather than a requirement.

Run the website SEO audit tool on your own site

Add a site, paste the address, and the first site audit starts on the next scheduler pass. You get the findings, the health score and the per page content scores without paying anything, and if you never upgrade the audit keeps running weekly. Google's crawler documentation is a good companion to the technical findings, and our own documentation explains each rule the crawl applies.
